Biography

Rev. Dr. Erin Edwards joined Brite Divinity School in July 2024. Rev. Dr. Edwards, an ordained Disciples of Christ minister, came to Brite from Davis, California where she served as the Founder/ Lead Pastor and Executive Director of Live on Purpose Community Church. She has 20+ years of experience in pastoral care and spiritual leadership and has successfully organized community outreach programs around anti-racism, social justice and LGBTQ+ inclusion.

Rev. Dr. Edwards earned a Bachelor of Arts from the Christian Leadership Institute, a Master of Arts in Ministry and Practical Theology from Ohio Christian University, and recently completed a Doctor of Ministry degree at Pacific School of Religion.
