The Brite Divinity School Spring 2026 Hooding Service will be held on Friday, May 9 at 1:00 p.m. at the Robert Carr Chapel. Commencement for Brite Divinity School and Texas Christian University will also be held that evening at 8:30 p.m. at the Amon G. Carter Stadium.
Before commencement, you must complete the following easy steps to graduation:
All students must complete an Intent to Graduate Form before the appropriate deadline.
Brite Divinity School and TCU contract with Herff Jones for official graduation regalia. Your cap and gown will ship directly to your address and typically takes about 14 – 21 days for delivery.
A prepaid return label will be included in your package for returning your gown the week after commencement.
All gowns have an embedded RFID chip must be returned using the prepaid return label. You may keep you cap/tassel and master or doctoral hood.

As part of our commitment to creating a supportive and enriching environment, graduating students are required to complete the Graduating Student Questionnaire, which is a required component of our accreditation with the Association of Theological Schools (ATS).
