The Brite Divinity School Spring 2026 Hooding Service will be held on Friday, May 8 at 1:00 p.m. at the Robert Carr Chapel. Following the service, Brite will host an End of Year Bash in the Bass Conference Center. Commencement for Brite Divinity School and Texas Christian University will be held that evening at 8:30 p.m. at the Amon G. Carter Stadium.

Before commencement, you must complete the following easy steps to graduation:

All students must complete an Intent to Graduate Form before the appropriate deadline.

All graduating students are required to complete the Hooding Form no later than April 15, 2026. The form captures preferred name information and additional details that will be used during the Hooding Ceremony.

Brite Divinity School and TCU contract with Herff Jones for official graduation regalia. Your cap and gown will ship directly to your address and typically takes about 14 – 21 days for delivery.

A prepaid return label will be included in your package for returning your gown the week after commencement.

All gowns have an embedded RFID chip must be returned using the prepaid return label. You may keep you cap/tassel and master or doctoral hood.

You may order your Brite hooding invitations through TCU Printing Services located at 2865 W.Bowie (Cross Streets: W. Bowie and Greene Ave., Street level at the rear of the GrandMarc at Westberry Place residential units. Phone # 817-257-7838). If you wish to order invitations through TCU Printing Services, please do so as soon as possible.

The Dean’s Office and Brite Advancement will host a special luncheon on Thursday, May 7 at noon for you and a guest to celebrate with faculty.

As part of our commitment to creating a supportive and enriching environment, graduating students are required to complete the Graduating Student Questionnaire, which is a required component of our accreditation with the Association of Theological Schools (ATS). Your responses are due by May 1, 2026.
