Brite Adds Two New Roles to Strengthen Student Pathways to Ministry and Service
Dr. Eileen M. Daily and Rev. Will Horn to join Brite’s Department of Academic Affairs as Director of Competency-Based Education and Assistant Director of Academic and Vocational Advising, respectively
FORT WORTH, TEXAS – Today, Brite Divinity School welcomes two new staffers – Dr. Eileen M. Daily and Rev. Will Horn – to Brite’s Department of Academic Affairs, helping students understand and pursue their callings to serve God’s diverse world. Horn, who formerly served as Admissions Counselor and Recruiter, was promoted to the new Assistant Director of Academic and Vocational Advising; and Daily was hired for the new Director of Competency-Based Education.
“Will Horn has already made a profound impact on Brite through his work in admissions, where his gifts helped countless prospective students find their place in our community,” said Rev. Dr. Shonda R. Jones, Academic Dean and Executive Vice President. “In his new role, Will brings those same gifts to supporting students as they navigate both their academic journeys and vocational discernment. We are thrilled to see him step into this important leadership role and know our students will benefit greatly from his wisdom, compassion, and commitment to their success.”
"We are also delighted to welcome Dr. Eileen Daily to Brite, whose distinguished record as a theological educator, academic leader, and innovator makes her an exceptional choice to serve as Brite’s first Director of Competency-Based Education,” Dean Jones added.
As Brite launches competency-based education within its Chaplain Studies program, Daily’s leadership will be instrumental in developing a model of formation that is rigorous, accessible, and responsive to the realities of ministry today.
“We are thrilled to welcome her to this important role and to the leadership team guiding this groundbreaking initiative,” she said.
Both Daily and Horn are important to the New Brite Path Initiative, an initiative funded by a $1 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc., which seeks to prepare Brite’s future faith leaders to thrive in a rapidly changing world, equipped with a strong theological foundation and an agile, innovative spirit. Alongside the new Director of Vocational Discernment and Ministerial Readiness, Brite is invested in shaping how learners explore their purpose and prepare for post-graduation ministry and service.
Horn is the Founder and pastor of the Cosmopolitan Congregation in Dallas. He is also CEO of Will Horn Ministries, and host of the “Shake the Table” YouTube channel and Podcast. Horn received his Master of Theological Studies (MTS) degree with a certification in History, Theology, and Ethics from Brite. And in 2025, he joined Brite as Admissions Counselor and Recruiter, where his ability to listen deeply, build meaningful relationships, and connect students’ passions with their sense of calling made him essential to the Admissions team.
Horn completed his undergraduate work in Business Management at Paul Quinn College in Dallas. And he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree in Transformational Leadership at Boston University School of Theology.
Daily brings more than two decades of leadership experience in theological and religious education. Most recently, she served at Boston University School of Theology, where she was the Founding Director of the hybrid Doctor of Ministry in Transformational Leadership program and Director of the Online Lifelong Learning Program. In these roles, she led accreditation, assessment, curriculum development, faculty engagement, recruitment, marketing, formation processes, and online learning integration, helping create and sustain innovative educational pathways for ministry leaders.
Daily earned a Ph.D. in Religion and Education and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College, where she completed her doctoral studies with distinction. She also holds a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross. Throughout her career, Daily has demonstrated a commitment to expanding access to high-quality theological education while cultivating transformative learning experiences that connect academic excellence, vocational discernment, and professional practice.
