Dr. Feille, if it’s alright with you, will you please send this short message to the Brite student body for me. I don’t know if this needs to go to the faculty/staff as well but if you think that’s ok you can do that as well. Thank you so much.–Sarah

Greetings Friends!

This year seems to have started on a very fast pace already and I hope everyone of us is ready for the journey ahead. I want to take this time to welcome everyone back to school. A very special welcome to all the new students at Brite. I hope you are finding your classes interesting and helpful. Brite has a lot to offer us and I have personally learned a lot from my classes here but most importantly from the various interactions I have had not just with professors but with the rest of the student body.

I encourage you to come to your journey here at Brite with an open but critical mind. I also encourage everyone to take the time to get to know the people around you and remember to have some fun from time to time. Please take advantage of every opportunity you find here at Brite and you will be surprised at how much you will learn.

We should also remember to take a minute or so each day to say a prayer for our brothers and sisters in Haiti. We are blessed to be alive and to enjoy all the privileges we have, so let us continue to remember all those families that have lost loved ones and those that have survived but need some help. Donate if you can in your churches and in the various places that have been advertised in our newsletter.

Wishing you all a year filled with promises even in the midst of all the challenges that life brings.

Blessings and God’s peace to you all.
