Lent: Cries of Anguish, Stories of Hope: A Lenten study on the Worldwide Struggle to eliminate violence against women
February 14, 2010Dear friend of the World Council of Churches,
I think that you might be interested in this proposal for the Lenten time.
Cries of Anguish, Stories of Hope: A Lenten study on the Worldwide Struggle to eliminate violence against women. It features weekly videos of inspirational women around the world.
There are also Bible Studies, Prayers and a place for a discussion. Join us each week as we learn about different women’s work to create a non-violent world.
The World Council of Churches, The World Student Christian Federation and the World YWCA have joined forces to create an interactive Lenten study that addresses the serious issue of violence against women and gives people hope around the world to work to continue this struggle.
