Martha L. Johnson has been an attorney since 1994 and a Mediator since 2007. She is a graduate of Drake University and Drake Law School and the SMU Alternative Dispute Resolution program. Martha’s main areas of practice have been in probate and family law as a sole practitioner. Before her law career, Martha worked in the insurance industry as a manager and underwriter. Martha’s husband, Paul, has been a Commissioned Disciples Minister since 1985. Hence Martha has kept current on federal tax laws and regulations as they apply to ministers for the last 25 plus years. In addition to being an active member of Midway Hills Christian Church in Dallas, she has also devoted a portion of her time every year to helping newly ordained ministers with their federal and state income taxes.
