Jewish Resources for Caring for Servicepersons and Veterans Affected by Military Moral Injury
February 16, 2022
2:00 CST / 3:00 EST

This Webinar is led by three rabbis who are deeply informed about military moral injury, its particular implications for Jewish servicepersons and veterans, and practices for responding to those experiencing moral injury. Our panelists include an active duty Navy chaplain, and two scholars with clinical expertise whose teaching at Hebrew Union College (NYC) features resources and strategies for responding to military moral injury. These panelists will acquaint viewers with resources in Jewish scriptures and texts that are helpful in addressing experiences of military moral injury not only for Jewish servicepersons but more broadly including its rich liturgical and ritual practices.
