Community Conversation: Faculty Reflection on Race

February 15, 2010

Tomorrow is a special community conversation. We will have faculty reflections on how the civil rights movement has shaped them and their vocations. For years I have coveted a chance for Brite students to hear Joey Jeter’s story of his imprisonment in Magnolia, Mississippi during Freedom Summer in 1964. You will have the chance to hear Dr. Jeter and other members of the faculty reflect on how the movement transformed their lives.

I hope to see you tomorrow.
