October 27, 2009

I invite you to join the community for worship at 11:00 am today in Robert Carr Chapel. Two themes converge today: we continue our theme of “Celebrating the Diversity of Faith Through Music” and, as All Saints Day approaches, we mark the 500th anniversary of John Calvin. We enter into both themes this morning by singing from the Psalter. Calvin and the Reformed tradition have lifted up the importance of Psalms for Christian worship, a theme President Newell Williams will reflect upon in his sermon “Singing Your Way Into God’s Future.” We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper.
