Amanda Henderson Cards- Note from Moderator Micah James

Good Morning Brite!

Many of the Brite community have lifted thoughts and prayers for our friend and classmate, Amanda Henderson. Dean Ramsay has been keeping us all up to date and we are thankful for the progress Amanda is making in her recovery.

Since hearing the news of her accident, many have reached out to me about how they can respond. At this moment, prayers and cards are the best way to let Amanda and her family know we are thinking of them and surrounding them with our love.

In an effort to support Amanda and her family, Dean Ramsay & BSA are going to bundle cards and send them on behalf of Brite community. We want to shower them in love, prayer, and support! We couldn’t think of a better way to do this than to send a big package full of cards from her Brite family. The cards will be collected in Dean Ramsay’s office and then mailed as a bundle from Brite. We will mail two bundles – one this week and one next week. If you wish to contribute cards to this first care package, please drop them off to Dean Ramsay’s office by Friday, August 6 at noon. Our second bundle will go out next Friday, Aug. 13 at noon.

You can write as many notes as you like! We want to shower them in our support and love. You are also encouraged to mail your own notes to the family at the address Dean Ramsay provided.

I have been so very proud of Brite community in the way they have surrounded the Henderson’s with prayer and love.
