Registration Open for Flourishing in Ministry Workshops

September 5, 2018

Ministry and life bring diverse kinds of transitions which challenge a pastoral Leader’s ability to thrive. To support pastors in building the resiliency skills needed to successfully meet the stress of change, Brite is offering two residential workshops designed to work together to explore different facets of personal and professional flourishing and to develop strategies for increasing one’s resiliency.

October 24-25 – “Thriving as Pastor: Exploring the Meaning and Means” by Dr. Barbara McClure, Brite Divinity School

November 14-15 – “Story Care: Practices for Flourishing in Ministry” by Dr. Karen Scheib, Candler School of Theology

Registration is based on a sliding scale and includes workshops, lodging, meals, assessment tool, a copy of “Attend to Stories: How to Flourish in Ministry”, and up to 2 hours of consultation with Dr. McClure. Learn more and register at www.brite.edu/flourishing
