Luis Bernard, Director of the Center for Latino/a Studies, Brite Divinity School
Do you or your church want to launch a Cross-Cultural ministry? How do you know that you are ready for Cross-Cultural Ministry? How can you assess if your congregation is ready for Cross-Cultural Ministry?
This presentation will assist participants in answering these questions. In addition, we will go over the differences between personal readiness, organizational readiness, and congregational readiness. The seminar will also address the question, if we are not ready, where do we or the congregation need to migrate in order to be ready? In other words, what are the steps that we can take to position ourselves to engage in Cross-Cultural ministry? The goal of this presentation is to enable participants to identify the different levels of readiness for Cross-Cultural ministry.
Wednesday, February 18th
1:45 p.m.
